Common Perforation patterns
Round perforations: The standard pattern is 60 degree staggered.Variations include 45 degree staggered and straight line pattern.
Square perforation: Staggered or straight line pattern.
Slotted perforation: Slotted perforations include side staggered, end staggered or straight line. The slotted perforations are round end slots.
Staggered perforation, Round and Square: Stagger direction is short dimension of the sheet. The straight row of the hole is parallel to long dimension of the sheet.
Perforation spacing: Spacing for big perforations is designated by centres of perforations or by open area needed. The spacing for small perforations is designated by centres or open area or through count of perforations per square inch.
In the several cases, the perforated sheets or plates are furnished as per the AISI flatness tolerances.
