Wire Mesh Screens Materials for industrial applications

Heanjia has been involved in the production and supply of woven wire screens in Chinese and international market since 1984. Woven wire screens are constructed from different types of material and in sizes.

Non-Ferrous Metal– Nickel, Monel, Copper, Aluminum

Special Materials- Hastelloy, Titanium

Stainless steel– NiCrMo steel, chromium steel, heat resistant steel

We produce wire diameters and mesh screens in popular and required specifications with our state of art equipments and qualified weaving staff who make the woven wire screens fit for your applications. Whether in large quantities or small, we can supply the mesh that you need. Moreover our mesh screen products include expanded metal, perforated material, conveyer belts and others. Materials used for producing mesh screens are:

Steel

Plain and low carbon steel with economical price and good ductility. It is preferred for nominal corrosion and abrasion resistance and slight contamination.

Stainless Steel 300 Grades

These grades comprise of chromium and nickel and are austenitic at room temperatures. They possess magnetic properties in an annealed condition however become slightly magnetic upon cold processing. Outstanding corrosion resistance and strength at elevated temperatures are the major reasons for choosing these grads. Commonly used steel types are SS 304 and SS 316 for offering great corrosion resistance due to presence of molybdenum.

Heat Resistant Steel

It prevents corrosion at temperatures above 600oC to 1200oC in air and particular conditions. But in sulfine conditions, water, vapor or ashes are added together with heat, use Incoloy alloys.

Copper and its alloys

Copper has good heat and electrical conductivites. Copper-Nickel alloys are preferred for use in marine conditions.

Nickel and nickel based alloys

Nickel wire mesh prevents corrosion in acid and alkaline based chemical conditions. It is fit for welding and is hard like steel. Nickel based alloys like Inconel, Incoloy, Hastelloy and others cannot be always woven so they need a special request. Monel can easily be wove and is resistant to atmospheric corrosion, seawater and various acids and alkalines.

Delivery

A standard roll and half rolls are produced.

A wire mesh roll may consist of three pieces or more.

For rolls and roll pieces, the width of mesh is measured

For strips, the width should be mentioned. With orders of quantities of specific sizes, the length of individual strips can be adjusted accordingly, for cut to size pieces, the sides, lengths, angles and radii should be mentioned. Woven wire screens are labeled with the following items

• Wire material
• Wire diameter
• Roll length and width, size and count of pieces
• Weight if needed
• Aperture

If the screen roll comprises of many rolls, the length of every piece will be mentioned. Woven wire mesh in pieces are mentioned. Length and weight of every roll is subjected to the agreement.
