FeCrAl Fiber Mat (Fecralloy) is used on metal fiber burners, such as radiant burners and gas infrared burners. It is suitable for use over a wide range up to 1100°C. FeCrAl (Fecralloy) fiber mat has longer high temperature life, having greater oxidation resistance and form stability over other alloys. It is widely used to replace the ceramic elements for gas infrared burners. It gives almost limitless potential to construct burners of all shapes and sizes – even to build burners that radiate internally. we can manufacture customized FeCrAl (Fecralloy) fiber mat with almost unlimited diversity of size and shape. Our FeCrAl (Fecralloy) fiber mat for gas burners can be fired by high pressure gas or the latest premix systems, it ensures the maximum fuel saving and minimum emissions.
FeCrAl Fiber Mat (Fecralloy) advantages:
1: Low thermal inertia – response in seconds
2: Thermal & mechanical shock resistance
3: Homogeneous combustion
4: High modulation capability
5: Flashback safety
6: High temperature corrosion resistance
7: From a 10CM square burner heat output can vary from 1 to 20KW.
FeCrAl fiber mat’s high modulation capability allows our customer to control the temperature of the burner, and hence the wavelength of the emitted infrared, so it can match the burner output to the material being heated.
The robust nature of metal fiber makes it ideal for the most challenging of industrial applications and its low emissions mean it is as usable in the cleanest environments and in food applications.
The Fecralloy fiber mat’s high turn down ratio allows us to determine the radiating temperature of the burner, thereby effecting the wavelength of the energy emitted and ensuring that we can accurately tailor the performance of the burner to the material being heated.
