What is Nickel Mesh?
Nickel mesh has two kinds: Nickel wire mesh and nickel expanded metal. Nickel wire mesh is made by weaving pure nickel wire; nickel expanded metal is made by expanding pure nickel foil.
Heanjia Super Metals Co., ltd has been leading manufacturer of Nickel Mesh for over 30 years. We are capable of manufaturing super fine nickel wire mesh(up to 400*400mesh per inch) and super thin nickel expanded foil(as thin as 0.05mm). They are both made of pure nickel(Ni>99.8%).
Nickel Wire Mesh is widely used as filtration media, nickel catalyst and nickel mesh electrode. It has high resistance to different chemicals such as caustic acids and alkalis. Because of nickel’s outstanding corrosion resistance, it is widely used to keep product purity, such as food, synthetic fibers, caustic alkalies. Other applications include corrosion resistant parts, electronic parts, aerospace, etc.
Nickel Wire Mesh available specifications:
Thickness: 0.03mm to 10mm
Opening size: 0.03mm to 80mm
Width: 150mm to 3000mm
Mesh: 0.2mesh/inch to 400mesh/inch
Expanded Nickel Foil is widely used as battery and fuel cell electrode, for example as nickel-compartment/Ni-Hi/Li-ion battery electrode. Expanded Nickel Foil is manufactured by symmetrically slitting and stretching the nickel sheet to produce diamond shape openings. This type of expanded mesh has avoided the electric flow problem which usually occurs in the woven wire mesh.
Expanded Nickel Foil available specifications:
1: Material: pure nickel foil, purity≥ 99.8% (Conform to the requirements of the ROSH)
2: Strand thickness: 0.05mm to 0.50mm (±0.01mm)
3: Foil width: 20mm to 350mm (±0.2mm)
4: Surface density: 100g/m2 to 400 g/m2 (±10g/m2)
5: Flexibility: 180 degree twist available, 8 to 10 times no crake
6: The total length: up to 300m/roll, ≤1 connector with same width
We manufacture nickel mesh at wide range according to each customer’s specified requirements, such as mesh thickness, opening size, sheet size, etc.
