Product Description:

Nickel Mesh includes Nickel Wire Mesh and Expanded Nickel Foil. They are both made of pure nickel(UNS N02200/2201, Ni>99.6%). Nickel Wire Mesh is made of pure nickel wire while nickel expanded foil is made of pure nickel foil. 

Nickel Wire Mesh is widely used as filtration media, nickel catalyst and nickel mesh electrode. It has high resistance to different chemicals such as caustic acids and alkalis. Because of nickel 200’s outstanding corrosion resistance, it is widely used to keep product purity, such as food, synthetic fibers, caustic alkalies. Other applications include corrosion resistant parts, electronic parts, aerospace, etc.

Expanded Nickel Foil is widely used as battery and fuel cell electrode, for example as nickel-compartment/Ni-Hi/Li-ion battery electrode. Expanded Nickel Foil is manufactured by symmetrically slitting and stretching the nickel sheet to produce diamond shape openings. This type of expanded mesh has avoided the electric flow problem which usually occurs in the woven wire mesh.
