What is silver mesh?
Silver Mesh has two kinds: silver wire mesh and silver expanded metal. Silver wire mesh is made by weaving pure silver wire; silver expanded metal is made by expanding pure silver foil. They offer superior electric conductivity and heat transfer properties than nickel and other metals mesh. They have extensive applications in electronic, electric, aerospace and various other industries.
Silver Mesh Applications:
Battery collector mesh, electrodes and battery skeleton mesh, filtration material in high precision devices.
Silver has outstanding chemical stability and ductility with the highest electric and thermal conductivity, these characteristics are significant in the several mesh applications. Silver Mesh screen is commonly utilized in aviation, aerospace, electronic, electric and several other industries. ASTM B742 is settled for use in military.
Silver has extensive electronic applications due to its excellent physical and chemical properties. It is used as electrode in solar cells, electronic gadgets and battery productions. In addition of acting as a good conductor of electricity, it also provides long battery life and high energy to weight ratio. Overall reliable and safe performance. Silver made batteries are used in aerospace and defense applications.
