Product Description:

Monel Expanded Metal is made of Monel alloy sheet by incising and expanding. Recommended Monel grades are Monel 400 and Monel K500, among of which monel 400 is widely used.

Monel expanded metal has outstanding corrosion resistance in the seawater, brackish water and steam operations at the high temperatures. It has high strength and hardness at the elevated temperatures.

Monel Expanded Metal Sheet Properties

1. Resistant to seawater, brackish water and steam at high temperatures
2. Prevents stress corrosion cracking in the fresh waters
3. Particularly resistant to hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids when they are de-aerated
4. Excellent resistance to neutral and alkaline salt.
