Common filtration types:

Filtration- Mechanical separation of solids that are present in fluid or gas as a filter medium through which the gas or fluid passes through

Surface filtration- Holding particles on the filter surface. The particles filtered are larger than the pores on the filter surface and consequently develop a removable filter cake. The mesh is used as a filter element for the filtration of particles with a diameter that is smaller than the pore size.

Depth Filtration-  Depth filtration is a process that uses multilayer filter media with millions of pores of different sizes that range right down to extremely fine pores. The gas or fluid that is filtered flows indirectly through the filter material whereby the solid particles are stored in the openings in the different layers of the filter cloth right down to the lower lying layers.

Filter Rating- The filter rating of Heanjia mesh and metal fibers range from 1 micro to 500 micro. Additional to the filter medium, the filtration results are also based on other factors like solid content in the fluid, distribution of particle size and shapes, flow rates and viscosity.
