Robust Sintered Mesh For Severe Filtration Media

sintered mesh screen

Multiple layered mesh layers are made to meet the challenges of modern demanding filtration applications. Modern solutions allow a great range of benefits that usually justify the initial higher price, besides of enhancements in efficiency and durability.

With an experience of diverse years, we provide a great selection of standard products to meet the needs of a wide range of industrial applications. Although specific challenges in terms of materials and weaving style.

By using the great quality raw materials for our mesh products, the screens are made for highly precise weaving machines that are developed in-house.  Carefully chosen sintered wire mesh clothes are combined and sintered for the combination of heat and pressure. This process offers the combined benefits of every layer and offers required filtration capabilities. Sintered wire meshes developed offer the finest filtration results and they also withstand physical loads by their durable mesh structure. The smooth surfaces also offer cleaning processes like back-washing.

The mesh screens offer the sufficient level of stability, filter fineness, flow rate and backwash characteristics for high pressures and vigorous service media. The highly porous filter media made to achieve higher flow rates at average pressures and is specifically significant for clean-ability and backwashing properties.

What makes sintered mesh better than general screens

  1. Finest apertures and regular particle size distribution
  2. Great robustness, resistance to mechanical and thermal loading up to 600oC, longer service life and hence low downtime
  3. Large flow rates, selectable rates of flow resistance
  4. Fit for backwash at the elevated pressures
  5. Controlled load of filter media with pulsation
  6. Retained product quality, high resistance to corrosion with application of stainless steel, Hastelloy, Inconel grades etc.

Choice of filter media

The filter rating of the filter medium is based on the particle size distribution with respect to the smallest particle. Normally it can be trusted that the smallest filter meshes have a slight filter rating of 1.5 micro-m.

The sintered wire cloth is preferred for filter dryers as it is fit to withstand the shearing forces resulting into vacuum and contact drying. It is fit to withstand the shearing forces resulting from vacuum and contact drying. Sintered mesh is highly suitable for applications where major fluctuations in temperature occur. The filter cake treats as a filter medium, fit for initial short solids throughput and specify coarser, highly robust filter media to offer a prolong life to the filter media.

The sintered mesh filter cartridges are made from fine woven steel wire mesh. Sintering permits the use of finer wires to develop more holes per unit area for larger flow rates and higher contaminant loading capacity. Sintered media is pleated to develop filter cartridges with applications in bulk pharmaceutical chemical purification applications including catalyst solid recovery and decolorizing carbon removal. This mesh is particularly effective in applications including fluidization, dispersal and cyclone technology.

Steel mesh filter is fit to handle the different filtration tasks. Although the finest and highly effective meshes are very sensitive and attain a low level of stability. For vigorous industrial applications, the mesh is important that is usually not adequately flexible and cause issues.
