Sintered Wire Mesh as filters

The filter media are constructed from multiple layers of woven wire mesh that are sintered to produce a durable and strong structure. Every mesh layer used is fit for particular engineering application such as filtration, flow drain and high strength. The filter media are sintered in the porous panels that are then made and welded into strong filter structures.

Sintered mesh for gas applications

In the gas filtration applications, Heanjia construct the elements for surface loading filters. Each mesh layer is placed on the upstream of the media in the flow direction whilst the support mesh is kept in the lower position. This type of filter offers nominal pressure drop, providing longer cycles. When the contaminating particles approach the filter, they are captured on the mesh surface rather on the internal pores of the sintered elements. During cleaning, the hold particles release easily and filter structure gets its normal condition back. The durable mesh structure is capable to handle continuous back pulsing.

The sintered mesh does not tear hence avoids catalyst or contaminant particles from travelling to the downstream.

Hot gas is treated at the condition temperatures about 900oC containing high chlorine concentration. The  mesh filters made from Inconel wire mesh have supreme metallurgical properties and durability to handle these severe conditions.

Sinter mesh also better retains the solid materials on the filter surface allowing cleaning easily. It prevents the need of costly support cores. The mesh structures are made from Stainless steel 316, Inconel, Hastelloy and other alloys.

Sintered mesh is highly durable structure than solely woven wire mesh that is completely annealed that withstand high pressures and physical strain. It has good micron ratings about 2 to 125 microns, available in filter element diameter and length options as well as various raw materials. The durability achieved by sintering the hastelloy wire mesh layers allows it to withstand high pressures for longer period hence make the applications very economical by enabling prolong use of the filter mesh.
