1. Extremely resistant to oxidizing and reducing corrosive media
2. High strength and durable
3. Great mechanical stability of sintered mesh
Technical Data Mesh Specification ChartsHastelloy Sintered Mesh are permanently bonded by diffusion annealing, it offers great stability and filtration performance. The wire mesh can also be sintered with perforated plates or metal fiber felt. Offering high mechanical stability, the diffusion annealing sustains the mesh filtration properties. The versatile production methods enable Heanjia to produce and develop sintered wire mesh customized to individual customer’s specifications and requirements.
Our sintered laminate comprises of single to multiple layers of hastelloy mesh that are calendered and bonded into a single unit by diffusion annealing. It offers extreme benefits of high mechanical stability and no wire’s movement within the mesh structure. Sintered laminate also provides outstanding filtration capacity by its surface filtration and no penetration into the filter media. Easily cleanable.
The construction using corrosion resistant Hastelloy grades offers extreme corrosion resistance, wear resistance and functionality at the diverse temperature ranges. Other properties include uniform pore size and permeability, great processing features, and the versatility in tailored mesh particular to customer’s size needs and the potential to process into filter discs, candles or in other required shapes.
The characteristics of Hastelloy alloys are excellent resistance to uniform corrosion, localized corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, easy welding and fabrication. It gives great resistance to non-oxidizing acids for example, hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid. The benefits of Hastelloy B-3 alloy are great thermal stability and easy fabricability.
The most versatile grades of Hastelloy alloy are alloy C-276 that is a strong and corrosion resistant alloy. It offers outstanding resistance to reducing and slightly oxidizing corrosive media. Alloy C-2000 offers great resistance to localized corrosion. Alloy C-22 is specifically resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. It is widely utilized in the extremely corrosive FGD systems and the most complex pharmaceutical reaction vessels.
Hastelloy Sintered Mesh is commonly used in all types of applications such as filtration, oil & gas refining, ultrapurification etc. It is made in the different sizes and specifications following the application requirements. The mesh design features vary in terms of Hastelloy grade, wire diameter, style, mesh opening, weaving style, and finishing.
The corrosion resistant Hastelloy alloys are the commonly used materials in the chemical processing units.
